1 CHICAGO, the second city
"The second city of a country is the city that is (or was) the second-most important, usually after the capital or first city. Criteria for second city status include population size, economic or commercial importance, political importance, or some cultural sense...”

2 History During the mid 18th century the area was inhabited by a native American tribe known as the Potawatomis, who had taken the place of the Miami and Sauk and Fox peoples. The Potawatomi were eventually forcibly removed from their land following the Treaty of Chicago in 1833. The name "Chicago" is a French rendering of the Native American word shikaakwa, meaning “wild onion”, from the Miami-Illinois language. After the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 destroyed a third of the city, including the entire central business district, Chicago experienced rapid rebuilding and growth. During its rebuilding period, Chicago constructed the world's first skyscraper in 1885.

We love Burger King, so we ate at the restaurant many times. The burguers were bigger than Spanish’s. But the real reason why we ate here is because we spent all the money in the 5 stars hotel and monuments!!! ( It wasn’t a problem…) Here is our food:

10 Where did we buy things? The principal place in Chicago to buy things is the Michigan Avenue, in the centre of the city. Along the street we can find many shops:
