1 Remark® Exam-Grading Instructions
University Information Technology Exam & Research Data Services Remark® Exam-Grading Instructions Processing instructions to include students’ names on answer sheets and reports.

2 Remark Processing: Instructions to include names on answer sheets and reports
Important Notes Pre-named answer sheets require distribution to respective students prior to testing, and is therefore recommended for small classes. Answer key and answer sheets have a unique QR code, and can be scanned only once. It is recommended that you retain the data for future processing.

3 Choose Class 1. Select NEW CLASS

4 Name your Class 1. Create a unique name for class.

5 Add Students’ names. Note: Adding the address is optional.

6 OR, You can Import your Student Names.
Import your student name files from .csv, .txt, or ASCII (ASC) formats.

7 Save your Class

8 Choose Test will appear
1. Click on Choose Test

9 Create Test Name your Test.
Select Answer Sheet Desired from drop-down menu. (Default is 100 Q’s, 5 choices A-E.) Save your Test.

10 Click on Print Tests.

11 Select Answer Key and Student Answer Sheets to print.
Add additional blank answer sheets if needed. Note: Blank copies require names to be entered during processing.

12 Print Key and Answer Sheets
After printing your Key and Answer Sheets, be sure to log out of Remark Remote so other faculty can utilize.

13 After students complete their exams, bring the completed Answer Key and Answer Sheets to Exam & Research Data Services, General Academic Building, Room 206, for scanning. The data will be placed in a confidential faculty folder for individual processing.

14 Log back into Remark: Choose Class to Process

15 Click on Choose Test Select Test to Process from Drop Down Menu

16 Select Process Tests

17 Click on PROCESS IMAGES.

18 Highlight data to process and click ADD SELECTED.

19 Data will be moved to Step 3: Read Images

20 Make corrections, if prompted, to either the Key or Answer Sheets.

21 After corrections, Select Run Reports.

22 Export Data and Selected Reports

23 Select all reports from the drop-down menu and export all to desired location.
