Take note, in your notes, of the different experiences they may have had with the new American settlers Writing Assignment: Imagine you’re a Mexican living in the “border area” of the United States after the Mexican American War. Hostility is growing between American and Mexican citizens due to the change in border. As a Mexican citizen, Write a letter to the US president describing your life and experiences living in this area of the US and explain how you think the US gov’t should handle the growing tension Use specific examples from history and the sources to support your argument
