All living things are made up of cells. Cells are the basic units of structure and function in living things. New cells come from existing cells.

Dna floats freely Unicellular organisms ex: bacteria Smaller and simpler Can do all the same functions as eukaryotes to survive “true nucleus” Dna enclosed in the nucleus Typically Multicellular organisms Ex: plants, animals, fungi Larger and more complex Has Specialized structures with specific jobs
