1. iCIMS 17.1 Release: Highlights

2. Introducing the 17.1 Release
iCIMS values feedback from our customers and provides an easy way for customers to share feature ideas through our Ideas Forum. The 17.1 Release delivers a number of highly-requested customer tools and features to create an even simpler experience for system users.
Major new features include:
Template Library: Organize and manage templates from a sleek new library.
Configurable Approval Notifications: Choose the individuals to be notified and configure the message received upon completion of an approval process.
Profile Link iForm Fields: Link directly to person, job, or location profiles in the Platform from fields on Custom iForms.
In-Platform Mobile Hiring Manager App Improvements: Quickly review hiring managers’ mobile feedback through pinned alerts at the top of the candidates’ Recent Activity Feed.

3. Email Template Library
Users with permissions to send s in the Platform can now better access and organize templates in the new Template Library, accessed via Library > Template.

4. Email Template Library (Cont’d)
On the Template Library page, users can search for templates by title or description. Users can also use filtering and sorting options to more quickly locate a specific template.
User admins can create, edit, and delete categories to easily manage their organization’s templates.
By default, all existing templates will be in the Uncategorized category, so users can organize their templates as desired.
An Archived category is also available, so users can retire outdated templates from use at their organization.
Users can bulk categorize and archive templates, provided they have permissions to edit the templates they are taking action on.

5. Configurable Approval Notifications
User admins can now configure a recipient list of individuals to be automatically notified when one of the following approvals is declined or approved: Job, Offer, Candidate, and iForm.
Furthermore, user admins can also now edit the content of approval notification s without the assistance of iCIMS Technical Support.
Each approval process has separate Approved and Declined notification templates, so notified users can be informed of the approval decision.
Separate approval notification s are available for each of the most popular iForm types:
Job
Person
Recruiting Workflow
Company (Location)

6. Profile Link iForm Fields
Users can add Person, Job, and Location (Company) Profile Link Fields on custom iForms with the assistance of iCIMS Technical Support.
Previous to 17.1, Profile Link Fields were a field type available only on Profiles within the Platform. This field type is filled out by selecting a value from a searchable dropdown. The value then displays as a clickable link that directs the user to the specific profile within the Platform (e.g. the Hiring Manager field on the Job Profile is a Profile Link Field, by default).
Profile Link Fields on iForms display differently for different user types. For users with Platform logins, a Profile Link Fields on an iForm will display as a clickable link. For users with only Portal logins, Profile Link iForms Fields will display as plain text.

7. In-Platform Hiring Manager App Improvements
Platform users have increased visibility to candidate reviews completed using the iCIMS Mobile Hiring Manager App.
The hiring manager’s advance or reject decision made within the app will display as a pinned entry in the recent activity feed on the candidate’s Person Profile and on the associated Recruiting Workflow Profile.
This entry is pinned for all users viewing the profile and can be dismissed globally.
Note: This feature is on by default for organizations using the app and is not configurable.

8. In Case You Missed It: Other Notable Features
To provide a more streamlined, scalable experience, Profile Redesign view is the only view available as of this release. The Profile Redesign On/Off switch in the Edit Preferences menu has been removed.
Platform users can more easily access offer approval information using the new Offer Approval Tab on the Recruiting Workflow Profile.
Candidates can now use a Microsoft social account to log in to and apply to jobs on Portals.
