Donation – a one time gift Event Registration – payment to an Event that has a registration fee Pledge – a promise to make a donation with a total sum over a duration of time. These are multiple installments to reach a total $ amount ($5000 over 5 years - $1000 a year) Recurring Gift – very similar to a Pledge that payments are made in installments but have no end total amount or date (eg. $20 donation every month) Planned Gift – any major gift made in lifetime or at death as part of a donor’s financial planning (eg. Bequest, life insurance)
