3 What we do in school Homework - set regularly in order to reinforce learning. Set mock exams at the end of November/early December (these should be treated just like the real exams). The actual IGCSE English Language exam is in early November. Mock interviews to help prepare for life after GCSEs.

4 Realsmart Pupils will log into Realsmart, powered by Google Drive through our new school website. They will be able to submit work to teachers electronically. They will have , which they can access anywhere with a web connection. Teachers will have the facility to set up secure class blogs, websites and discussion forums for students to contribute to. Teachers will be able to upload videos, worksheets and presentations and share these with students. If they have not done so already, your son/daughter will receive their Realsmart log on over the next week.

5 Best way to support your son/daughter
From the advice booklet ... “Parental support is eight times more important in determining a child’s academic success than social class” “The most important thing is that your child attends lessons” “Let your child’s tutor or other key teacher know if your child is experiencing any difficulties in their personal lives, where appropriate.”
