4 Project Goal and Scope of Project:
Queen Anne's County Schools seeks to conduct a Classification and Compensation Study for: approximately 350 positions. all certified administrative and non-certified classes.

5 This project IS designed to:
Capture current job data from employees; Ensure consideration of internal equity; Ensure that budgets can be built on market information; Identify needed market adjustments to the current plan; Support QAC Schools compensation policy; Provide an implementation plan that is affordable; Provide a process for future evaluation of positions.

6 This project IS NOT designed to:
Guarantee salary increases – subject to budget and collective bargaining Identify staffing levels. Reorganize departments or functions. Evaluate individual employee performance/capabilities. Recommend salary decreases.

7 Role of Employee and Supervisor
Both Serve as Subject Matter Experts. Both Provide Information Used for Job Analysis. Employees Provide Bulk of Information. Supervisors Review and May Comment. Supervisors May NOT Change Employee Answers. Supervisors May NOT Delete Employee Answers.

Employees in Scope of Study Complete Questionnaires. 100% participation – members of JAQ groups should be listed in Comments in Section 22 Supervisors Review Completed JAQs. Supervisors can finish their JAQ and still review. Review & Analysis by MAG Consultants.
