Physical Change A process by which no change in composition occurs
Ie: there is a change to another phase (i.e. gas, liquid, solid) or separated or combined. Physical changes are generally easy to reverse. No energy is produced by the substance.

Chemical Change A chemical reaction
Display different physical and chemical properties after the change Changes are not reversible without another reaction. Energy is often produced ( fire or heat, for example).
