HLH-30 (TFEB) Modulates an Evolutionarily Conserved Transcriptional Immune Response
Activated HLH-30 (TFEB) translocates to the nucleus to upregulate genes with different functions. The stimuli and upstream signaling component(s) necessary to activate the HLH-30 (TFEB)-directed transcriptional immune response are currently unknown. mTORC1 is involved in mediating TFEB activation in response to nutritional stress (Settembre et al. 2012), but its role in immune response has not been established.
