GALATIANS …the key to unlocking the spirit filled life

Give me Liberty

(Gal 5:13-15) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

The Pursuit of liberty

(Gal 5:13-15) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

(Rom 6:11-12) Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. (Rom 6:18) Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

(1Co 15:55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
(1Co 15:56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. (1Co 15:57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

(2Co 3:14-17) But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

The Pursuit of liberty The Predication of liberty

(Gal 5:13-15) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

(1Co 6:12) All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. (1Co 10:23) All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

(1Pe 2:16) As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

(1Co 8:9) But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

(Rom 14:13) Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. (Rom 14:15) But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

(Rom 14:21) It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. (Rom 14:23) And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

(Mat 5:21) Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: (Mat 5:22) But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

(Mat 5:27) Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
(Mat 5:28) But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

The Pursuit of liberty The Predication of liberty The Performance of liberty

(Gal 5:13-15) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

(Mat 22:36-40) Master, which is the great commandment in the law
(Mat 22:36-40) Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

(Joh 13:34) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. (Joh 13:35) By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

(Rom 13:8) Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. (Jas 2:8) If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

The Pursuit of liberty The Predication of liberty The Performance of liberty The Polar opposite of liberty

(Ecc 10:8) He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him. (Ecc 10:11) Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.

(Jer 8:17) For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD. (Amo 9:3) And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:

(Gal 5:13-15) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

(1Pe 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

(Pro 6:16-19) These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 1)A proud look, 2)a lying tongue, and 3)hands that shed innocent blood, An 4)heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, 5)feet that be swift in running to mischief, 6)A false witness that speaketh lies, and 7)he that soweth discord among brethren.
