3 What is Aylmerton? Aylmerton is a Geography Field Study Centre.
It is a family owned enterprise staffed by full time professionals who have a Geography or Natural History specialism. It is situated on the edge of the National Trust Estate at Felbrigg Hall in a Victorian school building.

4 Location All the activities take place within a relatively small geographic area. The centre is quite isolated which makes it a very safe environment.

6 The centre Dormitory Dining Room

7 Safety The Centre is away from major roads.
The boys and girls dormitories are separated. The centre staff all know the area very well. The instructors hold special certificates for the types of activities we’ll be doing. Where necessary, children will be provided with appropriate safety items (e.g. on the boats – life jackets will be given)

8 Dormitories How do we organise the sleeping arrangements?
Dormitories are basic but comfortable. They have an en-suite shower and toilet and bunk beds. A staff bedroom adjoins each room so the children can always contact a teacher should they need to. How do we organise the sleeping arrangements?
