EUREKA is a bottom-up intergovernmental initiative supporting R&D activities which aims to boost the competitiveness of European companies by promoting technological projects, aimed at developing products, processes or services with commercial interest in international and market based on innovative technologies.
Each country assumes the financing of its participating entities. They are collaborative projects were a public institution, a research center work together with an enterprise from two different Eureka eligible countries.
