2. Types of Poetry

3. Haiku a traditional form of Japanese poetry.
Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. 
The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. 
The lines rarely rhyme.

5. Limerick a humorous poem consisting of five lines.
The first, second, and fifth lines rhyme with each other.
The third and fourth lines rhyme with each other.
There once was a fish who could talk. He wanted to learn how to walk. He got out from the sea, Fell right onto me, And I nearly died from great shock.

6. Free Verse Free verse poems do not follow the rules
Have no rhyme or rhythm
Bring me all of your dreams,
You dreamers,
Bring me all of your
Heart melodies
That I may wrap them
In a blue cloud-cloth
Away from the too-rough fingers
Of the world.

It should contain 4 Haiku’s, 3 Limericks, and 2 Free Verse Poems
The free verse poems should be at least five lines long up to as long as you like
