3. In urmatoarele randuri, se aduc la cunostinta cateva dintre argumentele:
PRO
Ziua Indragostitilor ii incurajeaza pe oameni sa ia o pauza de la stresul cotiditian si sa se bucure de viata;
este o ocazie prin care oamenii isi pot exprima dragostea;
aduce bucurie oamenilor;
prietenii si familia au inca un motiv sa se intalneasca si sa iasa din casa;
este o scuza buna sa mananci bomboane de ciocolata;
este o ocazie pentru a iti exprima romantismul;
CONTRA
Valentine's Day a devenit doar o sarbatoare comerciala, iar semnificatia ei se pierde;
cei mai multi dintre noi am fi mult mai impresionati sa primim cadouri sau flori intr-o zi obisnuita, mai ales dupa o zi obositoare si grea;
aceasta zi pune o mare presiune asupra persoanele care sunt singure, care nu sunt implicate intr-o relatie;
barbatii trebuie neaparat sa cumpere ceva, chiar daca nu vor;
in Romania avem deja o sarbatoare dedicata indragostitilor, Dragobetele, sarbatorit pe 24 februarie;
la o distanta mica de timp se sarbatoreste 1 martie, ceea ce implica alte costuri pentru barbati;
aceasta sarbatoarea incurajeaza kitsch-ul, conformismul, superficialitatea si materialismul.

Cupid is the most famous of Valentine symbols.
The rose. The most popular Valentine's Day flower is however, the red rose.
The hands. The hands of a lady has been a favorite decoration for Valentine's Day for many years.
The doves and love birds. Since doves and pigeons mate for life ,they symbolize loyalty, fidelity and love.
The hearts. It was formerly believed that the heart was the seat of all human emotions.
