You will need: Template printed on coloured paper.
Or Heart shapes and students fold as shown.
Ideas: Students write a message to their dad on the heart before folding and seal with a sticker.

They are tiny and look great on mass.
You will need: strips of coloured paper – thin paper is better.
3cm x 15cm strips.
Scissors.
There is a trick to puffing them up – its all in where you hold the heart as you push the crease.

You will need: origami squares. Its helpful if one side is white.

5. Origami Stars

Fast forward to the story at the end of the video and read to students before making the stars. How long would it take for the class to make 2000 stars?
You will need: 2.5cm x 25 cm strips of coloured paper
Ideas: write wishes on strips of paper before folding and keep the wishes in a jar in the room. Throughout the year add more stars to your jar.
