Steps for Solving Multi-Step Inequalities
1.) Simplify (use distributive prop., add like terms, or multiply by the denominator) 2.)When the variable is on both sides of the Inequality, then add the opposite of either one to both sides. 3.) Add the opposite of the number on the same side of the variable to both sides.

Steps (continued) 3.) Divide by the coefficient OR multiply by the reciprocal of the coefficient to both sides. **Remember that when you divide or multiply by a negative number that the inequality symbol changes. 4.)Solve for the variable.
