Think about the decade before or after you were born. What was happening around that time? All these events helped frame the perspective of your individual generation. This helped shape who you are today; and, as a result, how you “show up” and engage with others at KYONE. Activity: Talk with your colleague/s (groups of 3 or 4 standing). Ask each group to take 2-3 minutes to discuss how a specific generation might be impacted by some of these experiences that occurred in the world during that particular generation. (If you have a small group, you can assign one generation per group. In a large group setting, simply ask them to select one or two generations in their small group to review and discuss.) Once concluded, ask participants to take their seats. Explain that given our numbers of employees largely fall in the first three columns, that we will focus on those three today, but that it is helpful to know that Linksters in 5 years, will also be prevalent in our work force.
