3. Of Themes in the Quran
There are a good many themes in the Holy Quran. One of these themes is القرآن
The word القرآن appears in about 48 Ayahs
These references have variable flavors of meaning and connotations
The word القرآن comes in red and its English translation comes in red too.
Looking at the entire theme gives a better understanding of what the message entails.

4. سورة البقرة - سورة 2 - آية 185-186
The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a Guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion of right and wrong. And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month, …..
When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close to them: I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calles on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ …..
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ

5. سورة النساء - سورة 4 - آية 80-82
He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah: But if any turn away, We have not sent thee to watch over their evil deeds.
And they say: (It is) obedience; but when they have gone forth from thee a party of them spend the night in planning other than what you say. Allah records what they plan. So oppose them and put thy trust in Allah. Allah is sufficient as Trustee. Will they not then ponder on the Quran?
If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much discrepancy.
مَنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ ۖ وَمَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا
وَيَقُولُونَ طَاعَةٌ فَإِذَا بَرَزُوا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ بَيَّتَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ غَيْرَ الَّذِي تَقُولُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَكْتُبُ مَا يُبَيِّتُونَ ۖ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ ۚ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ اخْتِلَافًا كَثِيرًا

6. سورة المائدة - سورة 5 - آية 99-101
The duty of the messenger is to convey the message. Allah knows what ye proclaim and what ye hide. Say: The evil and the good are not alike even though the plenty of the evil attract thee. So heed Allah, O men of understanding, that ye may succeed.
O you who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. But if you ask about things when the Quran is being revealed, they will be made plain to you,
Allah pardons this: for Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.
مَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ
قُلْ لَا يَسْتَوِي الْخَبِيثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيثِ ۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَسْأَلُوا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِنْ تَسْأَلُوا عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْآنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ

7. سورة الأنعام - سورة 6 - آية 18-19
And He is the Supreme, above His servants; and He is the Wise, the Aware. Say (O Muhammad): "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "Allah is witness between me and you; This Quran has been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another God?" Say: "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one God, and I truly am innocent of your blasphemy of joining others with Him."
وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
قُلْ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادَةً ۖ قُلِ اللَّهُ ۖ شَهِيدٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ لِأُنْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ وَمَنْ بَلَغَ ۚ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً أُخْرَىٰ ۚ قُلْ لَا أَشْهَدُ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَإِنَّنِي بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ

8. سورة الأعراف - سورة 7 - آية 202-204
When the Quran is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that you may receive Mercy. And remember your Lord within yourself humbly and fearing and in a voice not loud in the morning and the evening and be not of the heedless ones. Lo! those who are with thy Lord are not too proud to do Him service, but they praise Him and prostrate before Him.
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنْصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعًا وَخِيفَةً وَدُونَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ وَلَا تَكُنْ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيُسَبِّحُونَهُ وَلَهُ يَسْجُدُونَ

9. سورة التوبة - سورة 9 - آية 111
Allah has purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs in return is Paradise:
they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain:
a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah?
then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَىٰ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ ۚ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ ۖ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ وَالْقُرْآنِ ۚ وَمَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۚ فَاسْتَبْشِرُوا بِبَيْعِكُمُ الَّذِي بَايَعْتُمْ بِهِ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ

10. سورة يونس - سورة 10 - آية 37-38
This Quran is not such as can be produced by other than Allah;
on the contrary it is a confirmation of revelations that went before it,
and a fuller explanation of the Book ─wherein there is no doubt ─ from the Lord of the worlds. Or say they: He has invented it? Say: Then bring a Surah like unto it, and call for help on all ye can besides Allah, if ye are truthful.
وَمَا كَانَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ أَنْ يُفْتَرَىٰ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنْ تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِسُورَةٍ مِثْلِهِ وَادْعُوا مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

11. سورة يوسف - سورة 12 - آية 1-3
Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest. We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran, that you may understand. We narrate unto thee (Muhammad) the best of narratives in that We have inspired in thee this Quran,
though before this you were among those who knew it not.
الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ الْقَصَصِ بِمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ

12. سورة الحجر - سورة 15 - آية 85-87
We did not create the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, who knows all things. And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated verses and the Grand Quran
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ ۖ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعًا مِنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ

13. سورة الحجر - سورة 15 - آية 89-95
And say: Lo! I am the warner, who warns clearly. Such as We send down for those who make division. Those who break the Quran into parts
All of them, by thy Lord, We shall call to account.
Of what they used to do. So proclaim that which you are commanded, and withdraw from the idolaters.
Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers
وَقُلْ إِنِّي أَنَا النَّذِيرُ الْمُبِينُ
كَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَى الْمُقْتَسِمِينَ
الَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا الْقُرْآنَ عِضِينَ
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْأَلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
فَاصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ

14. سورة النحل - سورة 16 - آية
So when you recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Shaitan, the accursed Lo! Satan has no power over those who believe and put trust in their Lord. His authority is over those only, who take him as patron and who join partners with Allah. Say: The Holy spirit has revealed it from your Lord with the truth, that it may establish those who believe and as a guidance and good news for those who submit.
فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
إِنَّمَا سُلْطَانُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَ
قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ

15. سورة الإسراء - سورة 17 - آية 9-11
Lo! this Quran guides to that which is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do good, that theirs shall be a great reward.
And as to those who don’t believe in the Hereafter, for them We have prepared a painful doom. The prayer that man should make for good, he makes it for evil; for man is given to hasty deeds.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا
وَأَنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
وَيَدْعُ الْإِنْسَانُ بِالشَّرِّ دُعَاءَهُ بِالْخَيْرِ ۖ وَكَانَ الْإِنْسَانُ عَجُولًا

16. سورة الإسراء - سورة 17 - آية 41-44
We verily have displayed Our warnings in this Quran that they may take heed,
but it adds not to them except aversion. Say: If there had been (other) gods with Him, as they say,- behold, they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne! Glorified is He, and High Exalted above what they say! The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein praise Him, and there is not a thing but hymns His praise; but ye understand not their praise. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving.
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا
قُلْ لَوْ كَانَ مَعَهُ آلِهَةٌ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذًا لَابْتَغَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِي الْعَرْشِ سَبِيلًا
سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا
تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ ۚ وَإِنْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَلَٰكِنْ لَا تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا

17. سورة الإسراء - سورة 17 - آية 45-46
And when you recite the Quran,
We place between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter
a hidden barrier;
And We place upon their hearts veils lest they should understand it, and in their ears a deafness; and when thou make mention of thy Lord alone in the Quran, they turn their backs in aversion.
وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَسْتُورًا
وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَنْ يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا ۚ وَإِذَا ذَكَرْتَ رَبَّكَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَحْدَهُ وَلَّوْا عَلَىٰ أَدْبَارِهِمْ نُفُورًا

18. سورة الإسراء - سورة 17 - آية 59-60
And We refrain from sending the signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: and We do not send signs but to warn. Behold! We told thee that thy Lord does encompass mankind round about: We granted the vision which We showed thee, but as a trial for men,- as also the Cursed Tree mentioned in the Quran: We scare them, but it only increases their transgression aplenty!
وَمَا مَنَعَنَا أَنْ نُرْسِلَ بِالْآيَاتِ إِلَّا أَنْ كَذَّبَ بِهَا الْأَوَّلُونَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا ثَمُودَ النَّاقَةَ مُبْصِرَةً فَظَلَمُوا بِهَا ۚ وَمَا نُرْسِلُ بِالْآيَاتِ إِلَّا تَخْوِيفًا
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لَكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ أَحَاطَ بِالنَّاسِ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤْيَا الَّتِي أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَالشَّجَرَةَ الْمَلْعُونَةَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ ۚ وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ فَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا طُغْيَانًا كَبِيرًا

19. سورة الإسراء - سورة 17 - آية 80-82
Say: "O my Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honor, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honor; And give me from Thy presence a sustaining Power. And say: The truth has come and the falsehood has vanished; Lo! falsehood is ever bound to vanish. And We reveal of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers, But for the evil-doers, it causes nothing but loss after loss.
وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِيرًا
وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ ۚ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا

20. سورة الإسراء - سورة 17 - آية 88
Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like of it, even if they backed up each other for help and support. And We have explained to man, in this Quran, every kind of similitude:
yet the greater part of men refuse to receive it except with ingratitude!
قُلْ لَئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنْسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَىٰ أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَىٰ أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا

21. سورة الكهف - سورة 18 - آية 54-55
And verily We have displayed for mankind in this Quran all manner of similitude, but man is more than anything contentious. And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that Guidance has come to them, nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord, but that (they ask that) the ways of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to them face to face?
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۚ وَكَانَ الْإِنْسَانُ أَكْثَرَ شَيْءٍ جَدَلًا
وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا إِذْ جَاءَهُمُ الْهُدَىٰ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ قُبُلًا

22. سورة طه - سورة 20 - آية 1-6
Ta-Ha. We have not revealed unto thee (O Muhammad) this Quran to be distressed,
But as a reminder unto him who fears, A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the Throne.
To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. طه
مَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لِتَشْقَىٰ
إِلَّا تَذْكِرَةً لِمَنْ يَخْشَىٰ
تَنْزِيلًا مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ وَالسَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلَى
الرَّحْمَٰنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَىٰ
لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحْتَ الثَّرَىٰ

23. سورة طه - سورة 20 - آية
And whoever does good works and he is a believer, he shall have no fear of injustice nor of the withholding of his due. Thus have We sent this down - an Arabic Quran - and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order that they may fear Allah, that it may cause them to take heed. Then exalted be Allah, the True King! Be not in haste with the Quran before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, "O my Lord! advance me in knowledge."
وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا يَخَافُ ظُلْمًا وَلَا هَضْمًا
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْرًا
فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يُقْضَىٰ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُ ۖ وَقُلْ رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

24. سورة الفرقان - سورة 25 - آية 30-32
Then the Messenger will say: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing.
Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help.
And those who disbelieve say: Why has not the Quran been revealed to him all at once? Thus, that We may strengthen your heart and We have rehearsed it well, in stages, gradually.
وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورًا
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَاهُ تَرْتِيلًا

25. سورة النمل - سورة 27 - آية 1-4
Ta Sin! These are the verses of the Quran and the Book that makes things clear.
A guidance and good tidings for believers Who establish worship and pay the poor-due and are sure of the Hereafter. As to those who do not believe in the hereafter, We have surely made their deeds fair-seeming to them, but they blindly wander on.
طس ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْقُرْآنِ وَكِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ
هُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

26. سورة النمل - سورة 27 - آية 6-8
Lo! as for thee (Muhammad), you verily receive the Quran from the presence of the All-Wise, All-Aware.
Behold! Moses said to his family: "I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warn yourselves. So when he came to it a voice was uttered saying: Blessed is Whoever is in the fire and whatever is about it; and glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds;
وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى الْقُرْآنَ مِنْ لَدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ
إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِ إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا سَآتِيكُمْ مِنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ آتِيكُمْ بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ
فَلَمَّا جَاءَهَا نُودِيَ أَنْ بُورِكَ مَنْ فِي النَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

27. سورة النمل - سورة 27 - آية 73-77
But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. And there is nothing hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a clear Record.
Lo! this Quran narrates unto the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they differ.
And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers.
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
وَمَا مِنْ غَائِبَةٍ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ
إِنَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَكْثَرَ الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
وَإِنَّهُ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

28. سورة النمل - سورة 27 - آية 91-93
(Say): I (Muhammad) am commanded only to serve the Lord of this land which He has hallowed, and unto Whom all things belong. And I am commanded to be of those who surrender unto Him,
And to recite the Quran: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: "I am only a Warner
And say: Praise be to Allah Who will show you His signs so that ye recognize them. And thy Lord is not unaware of what you mortals do.
إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ الْبَلْدَةِ الَّذِي حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
وَأَنْ أَتْلُوَ الْقُرْآنَ ۖ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُنْذِرِينَ
وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِهِ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

29. سورة القصص - سورة 28 - آية 84-85
If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished to the extent of their deeds.
(Addressing Muhammad)
Verily He Who ordained the Quran for thee, will bring thee back to the Place of Return. Say: "My Lord knows best who it is that brings true guidance, and who it is in a manifest disarray."
مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ خَيْرٌ مِنْهَا ۖ وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَى الَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
إِنَّ الَّذِي فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لَرَادُّكَ إِلَىٰ مَعَادٍ ۚ قُلْ رَبِّي أَعْلَمُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْهُدَىٰ وَمَنْ هُوَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ

30. سورة الروم - سورة 30 - آية 58-60
Verily We have coined for mankind in this Quran all kinds of Parable; and if even you came unto them with a miracle, those who disbelieve would exclaim: "You do nothing but talk vanities.“
Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who understand not. So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who themselves have no certainty of faith.
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۚ وَلَئِنْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِآيَةٍ لَيَقُولَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا مُبْطِلُونَ
كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ

31. سورة سبأ - سورة 34 - آية 31
The Disbelievers say: "We shall neither believe in this Quran nor in any that came before it."
Could you but see when the evil-doers stand before their Lord, throwing back the word of blame on one another!
Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones:
"Had it not been for you, we would have been believers!"
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ بِهَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا بِالَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ۗ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ الْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لَوْلَا أَنْتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ

32. سورة يس - سورة 36 - آية 1-6 YaSeen I swear by the Quran full of Wisdom
You (Muhammad) are indeed one of the Messengers
On a straight path, A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful
That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. يس
وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
تَنْزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ
لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَا أُنْذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ

33. سورة ص - سورة 38 - آية 1-4
Saad. By the renowned Quran, Nay! those who disbelieve are in false pride and schism
How many a generation We destroyed before them, and they cried out when it was no longer the time for escape! And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say: This is an enchanter, a liar.
ص ۚ وَالْقُرْآنِ ذِي الذِّكْرِ بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي عِزَّةٍ وَشِقَاقٍ
كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ فَنَادَوْا وَلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ
وَعَجِبُوا أَنْ جَاءَهُمْ مُنْذِرٌ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَاحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ

34. سورة الزمر - سورة 39 - آية 25-28
And verily We have coined for mankind in this Quran all kinds of parables, so they may reflect; Those before them rejected (the prophets), therefore there came to them the doom from whence they perceived not.
Thus Allah made them taste humiliation in the life of the world, and verily the doom of the Hereafter will be greater if they did but know. An Arabic Quran without crookedness, that they may guard against evil.
كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيْرَ ذِي عِوَجٍ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ

35. سورة فصلت - سورة 41 - آية 26-28
Those who disbelieve say: Heed not this Quran, and drown the hearing of it; haply ye may conquer. But verily We shall cause those who disbelieve to taste an awful doom, and verily We shall requite them the worst of what they used to do. That is the reward of Allah's enemies: Hell- Fire. Therein is their immortal home, payment forasmuch as they denied Our revelations.
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَسْمَعُوا لِهَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَالْغَوْا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَغْلِبُونَ
فَلَنُذِيقَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَسْوَأَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ أَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ النَّارُ ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا دَارُ الْخُلْدِ ۖ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ

36. سورة الزخرف - سورة 43 - آية 30-32
But now when the Truth came to them, they said: "This is sorcery, and we do reject it." And they say: If only this Quran had been revealed to some great man of the two towns?
Is it they who apportion thy Lord's mercy? We have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of the world, and raised some of them above others in rank that some of them may take labor from others; and the mercy of thy Lord is better than the wealth that they amass.
وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ قَالُوا هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ
أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَتَ رَبِّكَ ۚ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ مَعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا سُخْرِيًّا ۗ وَرَحْمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

37. سورة الأحقاف - سورة 46 - آية 29-30
And when We inclined toward thee (Muhammad) certain of the jinn, who wished to hear the Quran and, when they were in its presence, said: Give ear! and, when it was finished, turned back to their people, warning. They said: O our people! Lo! we have heard a scripture which has been revealed after Moses, confirming that which was before it, guiding unto the truth and a right road.
وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوا أَنْصِتُوا ۖ فَلَمَّا قُضِيَ وَلَّوْا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ مُنْذِرِينَ
قَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَابًا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ وَإِلَىٰ طَرِيقٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

38. سورة محمد - سورة 47 - آية 21-24
Obedience and a civil word. Then, when the matter is determined, if they are loyal to Allah it will be well for them. Would ye then, if ye were given the command, work corruption in the land and sever your ties of kinship? Those it is whom Allah has cursed so He has made them deaf and blinded their eyes.
Do they not then reflect on the Quran, Nay, their hearts are locked up by them.
طَاعَةٌ وَقَوْلٌ مَعْرُوفٌ ۚ فَإِذَا عَزَمَ الْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا اللَّهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ
فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَنْ تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمْ وَأَعْمَىٰ أَبْصَارَهُمْ
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا

39. سورة ق - سورة 50 - آية 1-5 ق ۚ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ
Qaf: By the Glorious Quran. But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves.
So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar from probable return. We know that which the earth takes of them, and with Us is a recording Book.
Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are now in a state of confusion.
ق ۚ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ
بَلْ عَجِبُوا أَنْ جَاءَهُمْ مُنْذِرٌ مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا شَيْءٌ عَجِيبٌ
أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا ۖ ذَٰلِكَ رَجْعٌ بَعِيدٌ
قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنْقُصُ الْأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَعِنْدَنَا كِتَابٌ حَفِيظٌ
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِي أَمْرٍ مَرِيجٍ

40. سورة ق - سورة 50 - آية 43-45
Verily it is We Who give Life and Death; and to Us is the Final Goal- The Day when the Earth will be rent asunder, from men hurrying out: that will be a gathering together,- quite easy for Us. We know best what they say,
and you (Muhammad) are not one to compel them;
So admonish with the Quran such as fear My Warning!
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا الْمَصِيرُ
يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ
نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَنْ يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ

41. سورة القمر - سورة 54 - آية 38-40
Early on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them: So taste ye My Wrath and My Warning
And We have made the Quran easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?
وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُمْ بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُسْتَقِرٌّ
فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ

42. سورة الحشر - سورة 59 - آية 20-22
Not alike are the inmates of hell-fire and the dwellers Paradise : the dwellers of Paradise are they that are the achievers. Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would have seen it crumble, splitting asunder because of the fear of Allah, and We set forth these parables to men that they may reflect.
He is Allah besides Whom there is no god; the Knower of the unseen and the seen; He is the Beneficent, the Merciful
لَا يَسْتَوِي أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ وَأَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ ۚ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ
لَوْ أَنْزَلْنَا هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍ لَرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُتَصَدِّعًا مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ۖ هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ

43. سورة المزمل - سورة 73 - آية 1-5
O you, wrapped up in your garments
Rise to pray in the night except a little,
Half of it, or lessen it a little, or add to it,
and recite the Quran as it ought to be recited.
Soon shall We send down to thee a weighty Message.
يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ
قُمِ اللَّيْلَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
نِصْفَهُ أَوِ انْقُصْ مِنْهُ قَلِيلًا
أَوْ زِدْ عَلَيْهِ
وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلًا
إِنَّا سَنُلْقِي عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًا ثَقِيلًا

44. سورة المزمل - سورة 73 - آية 20
…therefore read what is easy of the Quran.
…therefore read as much of it as is easy, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate
and offer to Allah a goodly loan,
and whatever of good you send on beforehand for yourselves, you will find it with Allah; that is best and greatest in reward;
and ask forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
… فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ۚ… فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ ۚ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا ۚ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

45. سورة الإنسان - سورة 76 - آية 23-26
It is We Who have sent down the Quran to thee (O Muhammad) by stages. So submit patiently to thy Lord's command, and obey not of them any guilty one or disbeliever. Remember the name of thy Lord at morn and evening. And worship Him (a portion) of the night. And glorify Him through the livelong night.
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ تَنْزِيلًا
فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ آثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا
وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا

46. سورة الانشقاق - سورة 84 - آية 20-25
What then is the matter with them, that they believe not?- And when the Quran is recited to them they do not bow in Prostration?
Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny; And Allah knows best what they are hiding.
So give them tidings of a painful doom, Except those who believe and do good works, for theirs is a reward unfailing.
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ
وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ
فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ

47. In Conclusion, Read Surah of Asr
وَالْعَصْرِ
By the declining day,
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
Lo! man is a state of loss,
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance
