6. Cohort Participation: By the Numbers
# of Districts/Charters in MN PBIS to date = 222
# Schools in MN PBIS to date = 645
% of MN schools PBIS = 31%
# Students impacted by SW-PBIS = 311,280
% Students impacted by SW-PBIS = 35.6%
These data and percentages are tied to cohort-trained schools in Minnesota. We also have examples of larger school districts that may have begun to implement PBIS using the cohort training, and then began their own scale-up through local capacity for training, coaching and evaluation. Our State Leadership Team is beginning to look at ways to include those schools that have met similar criteria through our Sustaining Exemplar Application for Non-cohort schools, and also using our new data dashboard to identify schools that meet criteria without applying for Sustaining Exemplar annual application.
