Welcome everyone
In this session we are going to be talking about Office365 Sway.
This session is at a level 100 which h is meant for IT Pro, Business, and End User’s. Before I begin this presentation let me tell you a little bit about myself.
My name is Paras Dodhia and I am currently with KPMG Canada as a Team Lead, SharePoint Support this role involves managing the document management collaboration platform for the firm.
I have over a decade worth of experience with the Microsoft platform as a solution architect, developer, administrator, and trainer.
Aside from this I am the founder of Mindlab an IT consulting company which was discovered in 2001.
Mindlab has been involved with several high profile IT SharePoint/Office365 related projects. One of them being with the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games and another name to mention is Tervita one of the leaders in the oil and gas services industry.

What is Sway? Continued.
Sway is available in many plans for Office 365. Check out the plans and license info at Available licenses for Office 365 Sway.
Sway data is stored in Azure within United States data centers and is working to support data centers worldwide. Sways do not count against your OneDrive for Business storage quota.
Even if you access Sway through another online service, the data that you provide through your use of Sway is still stored in Azure within the United States.
Sway meets compliance category C. For more info, read the Compliance Framework for Office 365 and check out the Office 365 Trust Center.

Avoid Plagiarism
Sway provides the capability to build a dynamic modern bibliography with the ‘Creative Commons Only Filter’ when searching for images and video to add to your Sway.
The filter retrieves licensed images and video from the Creative Commons repository through the Bing search engine and uses them to illustrate stories.

Where does it live?
In the Cloud.
PowerPoint is primarily a desktop application. With Office365, you can get an online version but with limited features.
Adding content
Upload a full a word doc, let Sway build the skeleton of the presentation dynamically, import content from various web sources.
You can manually add the content .
Collaboration
Coauthor on the same presentation, share on Facebook, Twitter, or with a link
Office365 version of PowerPoint you can share with a link. Desktop version you can attach to an or share with OneDrive or whatever you use to share files.
Accessibility
Anyone can use Sway for free with a Windows Live account. It’s also part of Office 365.
To use PowerPoint, you’ll need to acquire an Office 365 subscription or buy a desktop license.
