REQUIREMENTS BEFORE TESTING:
Before a student can participate in a paper-based FSA ELA Reading (3rd grade), the student must complete a test item practice session. The test item practice sessions will be conducted as a Mock Test. Dates for the Mock Tests will be provided later in the presentation. Students taking the ELA Reading paper-based practice tests (4th & 5th grade students with a paper-based accommodation) must practice accessing the audio component of the practice test through the applicable computer-based practice test on the FSA Portal. This will also be conducted as a Mock Test. Test item practice sessions and paper-based practice tests familiarize test administrators and students with the item types and format for the tests. Before a student can participate in a computer-based administration (CBT), the student must participate in a scripted and appropriate CBT practice test to learn how to use the computer-based system. This applies to 3rd grade for the FSA Mathematics and 4th & 5th grade for both FSA ELA Reading and Mathematics.
