4) Lend-Lease Act: Act authorizing the US president to supply war materials to Great Britain on credit 5) Mobilization: The act of assembling and putting into readiness for war or other emergency. 6)Rationing: Government sponsored limits on the amount of certain goals that civilians could buy during wartime. 7) “Rosie the Riveter”: A cultural icon of the United States, representing the American women who worked in factories during World War II, many of whom produced munitions and war supplies.
