Engineering?
2
What is an engineer? Engineers turn ideas into products that we all use everyday. Can you give an example? Engineers are involved in almost everything we see. Engineers apply knowledge of math, science, and technology. Engineers are curious about how things work or are put together.

National Engineers 2015 February 22-28
Engineers from all over the area have come together to talk about what they do. Some design buildings, robots, or roads; others work with chemicals; and still others work locally at Hanford or in the Tri-Cities. In the Tri-Cities area, engineers are inventing, designing, and building instruments that help people do their jobs better and safer. Do you know anyone who is an engineer?

How do I become an engineer?
Do you like to build with Legos? Do you ask questions about how things work? Do you have fun mixing liquids to see what happens? Do you wonder what makes something work, like a plane? Do you have an interest or knowledge in math and science? If you like math, science, and figuring out how things work, you are on your way to becoming an engineer! Be curious!! Take math and science classes in high school and study hard! Go to college and get your degree Check out
