4. Programme 13/08/2009 Participants will be divided to teams
Each team will have one English speaking assistant.
9:30 – 10:00 Briefing at hotel
10:00-10:30 Transportation by bus to
Sultan Ahmet area
Start Treasure Hunt from visiting Topkapı palace (entrance to Topkapı Palace is extra)
Then Gülhane Park, Caferağa medrese
(Possible to do without museums)
12:45 Lunch at Sulta Ahmed köfteci
Divan yolu, Çemberlitaş, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Bazaat, Pass Golden Horn by small boat or walking, Karaköy, finish at the bottom or on the top of

5. Goals and Aims
Each team will have task book and book with historical info.
Also each team will get the maps of area and Google Earth print out photos.
The main idea is to proceed by designed route using navigation and communication skills. The team will gain points by answering questions, taking photos.

But on the way teams must not only visit historical places, but also visit certain restaurans and tastes different Turkish dished
Turkey is a country of delicious food.
Some of them are well known, some of them are totaly new.
Take a chance to compose your team book full of recipes.
Each team will get a picture of one of the Turkish dishes.
Team must to find out what is the name of this dish, find the original in any of the restaurants on their way. Ask how to cook it and wright down the recipe.

7. Route: Topkapı Palace 13/08/2009
Topkapı Palace is one of the main attactions in Istanbul. Teams have chances to see the museums, Meanwhile they are competing and taking photos

8. Route: Gülhane Park
After Topkapı Palace teams have a short visit to pictureous Gülhane Park.
There the first team-building task is waiting for you.
If team will succesfully accomplish it, it will get extra points.

9. Route: Egytian bazzar 13/08/2009
After first snack Teams proceed to Egiyptian Bazaar.
Shopping and photo tasks are waiting for them there.

10. Route: Golden Horn Adventure
It is a multiple task.
İsrt team must find where is the landing place of these boats (marked at the map). Then take the boat and cross Golden horn by water.

11. Route: Galata and İstiklal street
Around galata and İstiklal street a lot of Culinary tasks are waiting for you.

12. Aktivity Details
Each team has different tasks, as find one starter, salad, main dish, sweets.
Teams have to find their recipe on the map. Take a photo of their meal,.and find out how to cook.
End of the game all this resipes combine together and have a
’ Turkish Resipe Book’ with pictures. Each participant will have
printed book of recipes as a present. They can write down
the notes taken by them during the activity in their books.

14. FINISH
At the end of activity teams return back to the hotel and there give their Task bookk and photo camera for checking to the head marshall.
The result of this Historical and Culinary Treasure hunt will be announced during Gala dinner.
Notes:
During this activity is not nesessary arrange lunch and bus transfer back to the hotel. This activity requirs some walking, so the shoes must be comfortable.
No high heels.
It is not running activity, we do not measure the time! Servis at restaurants takes some time.
