2 Agenda… What is SolidWorks certification about
CSWA vs. CSWP vs. CSWE and all the other ones What is the requirements? How do I get it? How is these things are constructed? Lets get SolidWorks rocking! Tips, tricks and of course if any questions

3 What is SolidWorks certification about
SolidWorks certifications can be used as a benchmark to measure your knowledge and competency with SolidWorks software. CSWA A CSWA certification is proof of your SolidWorks® expertise – cutting-edge skills that businesses seek out and reward. CSWP A CSWP has proven their ability to design and analyze parametric parts and moveable assemblies using a variety of complex features in SolidWorks. CSWE A CSWE is able to solve practically any modeling problem given to them, and is traditionally the go-to SolidWorks user among their colleagues.

4 Other certifications…
CSWP-Sheet Metal CSWP-Weldments CSWP-Surfacing CSWP-Mold Tools CSWSP-FEA

5 What is the requirements?
You need internet connection doing the whole test. You can take the test on any level of SolidWorks 2008 or later. There is a 30-day waiting period before retaking the CSWA, and there is a 14-day waiting period before retaking any CSWP segment exam. I do not use SolidWorks or SolidWorks Simulation. Can I still take the exam with an evaluation copy? Yes. But you will have to get the evaluation version from one of the SolidWorks resellers in your area.

6 How do I get it?

7 How is these things are constructed?
CSWA = 3 hours Exam with a 70% minimum passing rate Exam features hands-on challenges in many of these areas: Sketch entities - lines, rectangles, circles, arcs, ellipses, centerlines, Sketch tools - offset, convert, trim, Sketch relations, Boss and cut features - extrudes, revolves, sweeps, lofts, Fillets and chamfers, Linear, circular and fill patterns, Dimensions, Feature conditions – start and end, Mass properties, Materials, Inserting components, Standard mates - coincident, parallel, perpendicular, tangent, concentric, distance, angle Reference geometry – planes, axis, mate references, Drawing sheets and views, Annotations
