About Eastman Global advanced materials and specialty additives company that produces products found in items people use everyday Customers are located in more than 100 countries 2016 revenues of ~$9 billion Headquartered in Kingsport, TN Kingsport manufacturing site has ~6,500 employees Over 3,000 of these employees are advanced manufacturing employees (hourly employees)

Eastman/Northeast State Apprentice Program Partnership
Began partnership with operator and lab analyst apprentice programs in 2004 Added maintenance apprentice programs to partnership in 2009 RCAM-Northeast State delivers the knowledge (studying and testing) and the hands-on labs Knowledge material and lab manuals were “owned” by Eastman and given to Northeast State to deliver Knowledge material was approved as college credit technical elective courses Apprentices are eligible to receive an Industrial Operations certificate from Northeast State upon completion of knowledge material

Eastman Apprentice Program Information
12 occupations are registered apprenticed occupations Currently have 439 active apprentices 10 of these occupations study, test, and take labs at the RCAM Since 2004, 1,132 Eastman apprentices have taken coursework and labs at the RCAM

RCAM DOL Relationship RCAM works with DOL to develop the apprenticeship standards and register the occupations RCAM maintains all required apprenticeship documents for DOL reporting RCAM provides all administrative reporting to DOL RCAM meets with DOL for periodic program reviews
