2. Which of these are made of cells?
Cells are the building blocks of life. Everything living is made of cells.

3. Plant and Animal Cells:
Plant and animal cells contain many of the same ORGANELLES (parts of the cell that do a specific job). They both contain NUCLEI, CELL MEMBRANES, CYTOPLASM, MITOCHONDRIA, and CHROMOSOMES.

4. Plant Cells:
Plants cells differ from animal cells in several ways. Plant cells are generally rectangle in shape. They contain a cell wall and a large vacuole. Plant cells also have chloroplasts and chlorophyll which help them make their own food.

5. Animal Cells:
Animal cells, by contrast, are generally round in shape. They contain several vacuoles but NO cell walls or chloroplasts/chlorophyll. Animals do not make their own food.

6. Prokaryote vs. Eukaryote
Some cells have a nucleus. Those cells are called EUKARYOTE. Trick... YOU have a nucleus in each of your cells... You are YOU-karyotic. PROKARYOTE cells do NOT have a nucleus.

7. Single-Celled vs. Multi-Celled
Some organisms are single-celled. These cells tend to be so small they can only be seen with a microscope. Examples of single-celled organisms include: bacteria and amoeba. Some organisms are multi-celled. These organisms are more complex and include plants and animals.
