With a single tap of a card elderly pedestrian and those with disabilities can now get a few extra seconds to make their way across Hong Kong busy road
The transport department on Thursday rolled out a new smart device at a pedestrian crossing in North point on Hong Kong island under a trial scheme

To understand physical disabilities and physically disabled people in Hong Kong
To raise the awareness of physical disabilities in junior students of Delia (hip wo)

7. DEFINITION OF PHYSICAL DISABILITIES
A physical disability is a limitation on a person’s physical functioning,mobility, dexterity or stamina. Other physical disabilities include impairments which limit other facets of daily living such as respiratory disorders, blindness, epilepsy and sleep disorders

1.How did physical disability intertwine with my abilities and activities ANS: a disability is any condition of the body or wind that makes if more difficult for the person with the condition to do certain activities and interact with the when adult with disabilities are not able to meet the above guidelines ,they should engage in regular physical activity According to their abilities

What things did I have to do to overcome the difficulties I experienced with physical disability ? ANS: nearly everyone face hardships and difficulties time or another but for people with disabilities,barrier can be more frequent and has greater image

12. Special needs of physically disabled people
Students may have physical disabilities during from conditions such as  congenital deformities spina bifida and or  hydrocephalus muscular dystrophy cerebral pals brittle bones ,haemophilia cystic fibrosis  or severe accidental injury.it is important  to state that there  is necessary direct correlation between the degree of physically disablility and the inability to cope with the school curriculum

apart from the elements involving physical activity. Students with severe physical disability may have minimal physical disability may have serious learning needs. Physical access can be a major concern for students who have physical disabilities as those who use wheelchair., braces, crutches, rolators, canes or prostheses, or those who fatigue easily may have difficulty moving around a school campus.

I felt sad for the people who are physically disabled because when I was trying to push the wheelchair it was hard  for me and it is more hard for people with physical.

Visual impairment is another type of physical impairment . There are hundreds of thousands of people who suffer greatly from minor to various serious vision impairment include scratched area, scratches on the sclera, disability related eye conditions , dry eyes and corneal graft, macular degenration in old age and retrial detachment.

With a single tap of a card, elderly pedestrians and those with disabilities can now get a few extra seconds to make their way across Hong Kong's busy roads.
The transport department on Thursday rolled out  a new smart device at a pedestrian crossing in North Point on Hong Kong Island under a trial scheme.
The device is attached to a traffic pole. When someone taps it with an Octopus card for the elderly or a personalised Octopus card registered with the "persons with Disabilities Status", the blinking green light will flash for 16 seconds, up from the usual 12 at the North Point.
A new countdown display next to the green man also shows how much time is left for pedestrians at the crossings.

One of the more salient examples is that students with disabilities are required to disclose that they have a disability and to communicate with faculty and staff in order to receive academic accommodations, as afforded to them under sub-part E of Section 504 of the education and rehabilitation act of Therefore, postsecondary accommodations available to students with disabilities, but they are not required to proactively seek them out.
