How have companies tried to protect us from cyber bulling?
Most social media have an option to put your account on private and block users to protect you from strangers and bullies. As well as this, some games can allow you to report people if they are doing something inappropriate like being nasty.

How can we protect ourselves?
You should always think about what you post online. Would you want a bully to see what you posted?- if not think again. Some things you should keep to yourself and some things you can share to the internet. Always tell a parent or grown up when you sign up to make an account for something. Put your account on private. Make sure you do not reveal personal information too such as your location, your age etc. Finally, remember if you are being cyber bullied, tell someone! This is important if you want them to stop.
