7. Pass/Fail Beyond Graduation Requirements
Course grades are not included in GPA
Eligibility is still based on course grade
Student will receive numeric grades on report card
P or F will print on transcript for semester grade
Conference with your counselor before deciding
Deadline is one week after first report card
Must apply for each semester
Exceptions: Cannot P/F Endorsement classes OR Dual credit classes

8. Dual Credit Option for college bound students!
Students may earn both high school and college credit – confirm with college of choice for transferability
Requires eligibility testing requirements
Pay fees directly to Lone Star
Earn up to 6+ hours of college credit per class if a C or better is earned in course
Dual courses have a weighted GPA value
Options: English 4, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, College Algebra,
US History, Government, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology,
Environmental Science, French, Spanish and German
