We can ask What do(es) … want to be when … grow(s) up? to find out others’ dream jobs. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be an astronaut.

Talking about dream jobs: If
We can use if-sentences to talk about future plans in different situations. If I become an astronaut, I’ll walk on the moon.

Key structure What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be
an astronaut. This has to happen first. Then this will happen. If I become an astronaut, I will walk on the moon. Use the present tense form with ‘if’. Use the future tense form.
