My goal is to help and encourage each student to reach their full potential in academics and as a person.
My expectations for each student is that they will respect themselves, their classmates and their teachers by ALWAYS being their best selves.

Communication is key! Planners must be signed every night. Most Fridays I will send home a missing work report. Please check your students progress on his/her portal.

7. Phone and Device Policy
Students may bring phones and devices that they have downloaded books from, however, they need to put their phones in my desk first thing in the morning and retrieve them before they leave.

Fluency- Students should read 120 wpm by the end of the year
Spelling Sentences
Reading goal-40 books by the end of the year!!
Any book over 350 pages will be counted as two books

9. Homework
Spelling Sentences will be due every Friday, unless otherwise notified. Students will be assigned to watch a math video most nights. The video will be assigned and students will write which video to watch in their planners. Students can access the videos at, Students will be assigned project based homework several times throughout the year. All homework will be written in their planners.

1. We will not bully others. 2. We will help others who are bullied. 3. We will include kids who are left out. 4. When we know of someone being bullied, we will tell an adult at home and at school. 5. Absolutely NO BULLYING WILL BE TOLERATED!

12. Blog
Using my blog is essential for student success. Students access important classroom information, study guides, power points and study material. Students can access the spelling words for the week. Parents can also access important parent letters and schedules. I also have fun learning games available on my blog.

13. Attendance
Good attendance is key to academic success. SAGE math results: days 2- 9 days 3- 5 days 4- 4 days or less

Book Clubs -11:00-11:30 every Tuesday -Sign up sheet on back table -Room moms

15. Parent Notes
Online Registration- If you need help our technology teacher is in the main computer lab. Fill out and sign papers in folder (leave on back table).
