1 Infotools Harmoni Stories & Exporting

2 Stories & Exporting What are stories Creating stories
Copying stories (replication) Sharing stories Exporting from stories

3 What are stories Stories are central place for you to access and manage saved views (thing of interest) A library of saved reports and analysis (commonly know as views) Dashboards are built from stories Stories can be built from multiple projects and sources Anytime you see a view (Table Chart or Dashboard) it can be saved by clicking the “+” symbol Can come from multiple projects From the stories Menu you can: Manage stories, Views, annotation and Sharing Stories can contain single views (Table and Charts) and also dashboards. Story can be shared as a digital link and then ‘Previewed’ and navigated through to tell the story Updated in real time as data is loaded into the system.

4 Creating stories Clicking the + sign at the top right of Infotools Harmoni will add the current view or even entire dashboard page into a story. Adding to an existing story is as simple as making the story active before hitting the + sign. An Orange + indicates there is an active story that the view will be added to Story creation and viewing is available to all users regardless of roles Clicking on the STORIES menu at the top will list the stories and allow you to select the active story Views can not be moved from story to story Stories are project agnostic…in a single story you can have views from multiple projects.

5 Copying Stories After building a story you can copy the story icon at the bottom right of the stories menu. Copying stories is fantastic when building sub reports from a master Duplicating reports for different markets using pin filter functionality…… coming soon

6 Sharing Stories Sharing stories using the “Share” icon at the bottom right of the stories menu Sharing stories is as simple as clicking the share icon either at the story level or the view level Sharing this with a registered user of the system will provide them with access to the story to view and interact with it. If a user changes the story they can save it as their own story Sharing an entire story is the most common route for sharing but you can also share individual “views”

7 Exporting Stories Exports to PowerPoint or Excel
Excel export used to dump all data in the story PowerPoint exports can be sent to pre-set client branded templates Filter information, low sample settings and %Base settings are exported into both XLS and PPT. Significance indicator only available in Excel (as conditional formatting) Exports are a common method for delivering data and presentations Again you can export the entire story or an individual view Excel exports will export just the data into a separate excel sheet for each view (chart of data). This is more of a dump of data to be used by the customer The PowerPoint export exports native charts for available PPT charts types (Pyramid being worked on) so that a user can interact, edit and see the underlying data in the charts. Charts that do not come out natively will export as an image (bead chart as an example). Tables export as embedded excel into PPT as default Both Excel and PPT exports will export all the information with the data including filters selected, bases and low sample rules (info bar). Significance is sent to the excel export although currently this is not available in the PPT export
