2 CH. 18-19 SECTIONALISM What should I be able to know?
I should be able to describe how the Civil War was caused by a series of events that piled atop one another making the war inevitable. I should be able to explain how the basic problem of slavery goes all the way back to early Sectionalism. I should be able to explain how the basic problem of State’s Rights versus Federal Rights goes all the way back to early government.

3 CH. 18-19 SECTIONALISM You must include the following:
Title of your section and your names. What was the event or movement about and when was it happening in relation to the other events? Why was this event happening? What caused it? Either: Incorporate the Slavery Question. Incorporate the State’s Rights Question. In what ways did this event impact American politics, economics or society? Did it change or solve anything? What were the differing opinions about it?

Visual: Slides (no more than three) with a map and a timeline of events Auditory: Be able to explain the information in relation to the previous outline. Auditory: Be able to describe the links to the events happening before and after your event. Describe it all in 10 minutes. (Rehearsal good-no rehearsal bad.)
