ACCIDENT THAT CHANGED HIS FATE
Sixth week, in March discharged from hospital After fifth week asked by office to take leave for a year In critical condition for a month Suffered subdural haemorrhage – left side paralysed Car collided with his car 1953-autumn twilight- driving home

CHUCK’S LIFE POST ACCIDENT
Remained depressed, lost his smile Duke became Chuck’s companion Duke understood Chuck’s physical state
