Change Categories and Fees
From 25 categories to 17 Simplified fee structure Minor changes = $1,000 Major changes = $1,500- $20,000 Reduced time to process proposals (after receipt of payment) Minor change = 8 weeks Major change = 24 weeks Specified level or review required for each proposal Notification Staff Review Panel Review Executive Committee Review Commission Review

Expedite via staff review = $1000 (2 week processing) Expedite via Panel review = $2000 (12 week processing) $0 Adding Title IV-eligible certificate programs not related to existing degree program(s), not significant departure (25% difference in program core) from approved program(s) Suspending, terminating, or placing into moratorium, Title IV eligible academic program or major(s) Closing or suspending an existing additional location or a branch campus (For more than 1 semester or 2 quarters) Combining two approved programs to create a new program

Minor Changes $1000 Adding courses or academic program(s) including Title IV-eligible certificate programs not related to existing degree program(s), that represent a significant departure (25% difference in program core) from program(s) previously approved Staff Initiating or expanding of distance education delivery where 50% or more of the courses or credits in an academic program are provided using distance delivery 3; 5(First three programs only) Substantially increasing the number of clock or credit hours awarded for successful completion of a program (more than 25% of total program credits or clock hours) Establishing an additional location where 50% or more of program requirements can be earned via face-to-face instructional delivery

Major Changes $1500 Initiating or expanding Competency-Based Education (CBE) delivery Panel or Staff Dual Degree Program -Entering into a consortial agreement with accredited institution 24% or less of the credits delivered by the consortium 25-50% of institution’s educational programs provided by the consortium c.
