Introduction to employment service Role of the Job Coach Examples of Reasonable Adjustments in the work place: Tasks suited to personalities/skills and excludes tasks that are inaccessible Ramps, adapt office space/furniture for wheelchair access

Examples continued: Job coaching – interviews / in the work place Give interviewee a work trial rather than an interviews Demonstrate tasks rather than verbally explain Add labels / signage / script- guide to greeting customers Visual systematic guide on how to complete tasks Allow for extra breaks / provide a quiet space
