Athlete Guide Dear TRIMOM Athlete, Race day is nearly here! We are excited to welcome you to The Battle and 6 Hours in the ‘Game! This Athlete Guide is filled with the information you need to have an enjoyable experience. This event is a production of TRIMOM Productions, LLC. 2 The Battle and 6 Hours The Battle at Burlingame and 6 Hours in the ‘Game will be held on Sunday April 29th! Burlingame State Park Main Campground Follow the signs to Main Camp!

3 Registration Pick-Up Times & Locations
PLATE/TIMING CHIP PICK UP Bike plates and timing chips will be at Burlingame starting at 7:00am on April 29th! Head over to the TRIMOM Registration Tent

Packet Pickup starts at 7:00am 6 Hours at the ‘Game starts promptly at 8:00am! The XC Races start with our NEHSCA Juniors at 8:15am

6 Race Day Information RACE DAY PARKING!
All event parking is conveniently located at Burlingame State Park – Main Camp! There is plenty of room for your car, pop-up tent, feed station supplies!!

7 RULES OF 6 HOURS AT THE GAME!
1. The race starts at 8:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm. Each rider’s final placing will be determined by the number of laps the rider has completed followed by the fastest time completing those laps. The last lap must be started before 1:00 pm. No racers may head out on course after 1:00 pm. Please let us know if you stop before 1:00 pm! Racers may finish after 2:00 pm without being disqualified. For example, a racer that has completed 3 laps with a finish time of 1:00 pm would beat a racer that completed 3 laps with a finish time of2:05 pm. 2. Support on the course may be supplied by other registered racers or the TRIMOM Tech Support Team in the Registration/Feed Area. The registered racer may supply their own equipment and tools. Items supplied by Tech Support are very limited so come prepared. There is NO BIKE TRADING, EXCHANGING, OR SWAPPING ALLOWED. 3. Water or food may be supplied to any racer by anyone at the 6 hr Registration/Feed Area. There is also a neutral WATER/FOOD/BATHROOM Station Located at the BUCKEYE BROOK ENTRANCE TO THE TRAILHEAD. When taking food or water please take caution not to impede other racers. 4. Only registered racers, event staff, or media staff may ride the course. 5. Racers must display their numbers on their bikes while racing. There is NO BIKE TRADING, EXCHANGING, OR SWAPPING ALLOWED. 6. Drafting is permitted.

. 7. Racers riding bikes have the right of way over those pushing bikes. If you are pushing a bike, please stay off the rideable portion of the trail so riders may pass. If you are lapping another racer, call out “passing on your left/right”. It is up to the passing rider to pass safely. 8. Short cutting the course is not allowed. If a racer short cuts they will be disqualified! 9. Poor sportsmanship, use of profane or abusive language and other unsportsmanlike behavior towards a racer, volunteer, event staff or spectator will not be tolerated. The racer is subject to a warning or immediate disqualification. 10. Please keep noise to a minimum. Respect other campers and participants. 11. In case of a disastrous situation due to weather or any other extenuating circumstance preventing continuation or scoring of the event or creates a racing environment that is deemed too dangerous for the participants, the race directors may postpone or cancel the race as of a certain time. The race may be restarted if the weather or circumstances allow. A restart procedure will be put into place atdirection of the race director. If the race is cancelled final results will be calculated based on each racers last completed lap. This is a last resort option. 12. Have FUN!!!

ALL RACERS - Plate/Timing Chip pickup is at Burlingame State Park starting at 7:00am First Race Starts at 8:00am – 6 Hours at the ‘Game 6 HOURS - There is (1) WATER/FOOD STATION located once you reenter the Yellow Dot from Buckeye Brook Road 6 HOURS - There will be water, bananas and energy bars! There will also be water, bananas and energy bars at the LAP/FINISH Line. ALL RACERS - There is a feed station Zone for you to setup your own nutritional, tech, support needs. ALL RACERS - YOU NEED TO CARRY YOUR OWN BIKE TECH NEEDS! BE PREPARERED for your NUTRITION and TECH NEEDS! ALL RACERS Snap a Picture of our Safety Badge! Please have a FULLY CHARGED CELL PHONE on you at ALL TIMES!!!

11 RACE DAY INFORMATION Timing & Safety!
You will receive a bike plate and timing chip. Please affix the plate to the front of your bike and the timing chip to your ankle. Please take a picture of our SAFETY BADGE with our CONTACT INFO – If you get lost, bike tech difficulties or medical. YOU MUST CARRY A CHARGED CELLPHONE WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES!! Timing Services will be provided by The TRIMOM Timing Company. As mentioned above, you will receive a timing chip at pickup on race morning. Your chip in on your plate! All athletes will receive all lap times as well as their Overall Time. Results will be ed immediately, available at the finish in our results tent on large displays tvs and kiosks. We are utilizing REAL TIME LIVEATHLETE TRACKER! Pass this link to your family and friends and they can track your progress all day long! Keep your Head up and watch for the orange EFTA Arrows!!

Safety Check-In Points Athlete Food/Equipment Drop Offs The Battle and 6 Hours ath the ‘Game is utilizing state-of-the art timing. Each time you come thru your lap - Your time is uploaded online instantly. Utilize our online LIVE ATHLETE TRACKER for family and friends to see your progress. TRIMOM is offering the 6 Hours ONLY, one opportunities to refuel at Buckeye Brook Road. There will also be water, bars and bananas at the START/LAP/FINISH LINE! We will have basic bike tech at the START/LAP/FINISH – but will be unable to get to you promptly on this course! YOU MUST CARRY YOUR OWN BIKE TECH NEEDS, CELLPHONE and NUTRITION!! BE PREPARED!!! There is a large FEED STATION Area at the START/LAP/FINISH for your own nutritional, equipment or clothing needs! Feel free to pop-up a tent, drop a chair and some coolers!! This is an Mile Loop – You may be required to wait a significant period of time for technical support – we HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARRYING TUBES, CO2, Multi-Tools, Chain Links and anything else that you may need!!!! TAKE A PICTURE OR OUR SAFETY BADGE AND CARRY A CHARGED CELLPHONE TO REACH US!!!
