5 X 5 BLOCK SCHEDULE BENEFITS OF 5 X 5: Greater number of electives More opportunities for credits Lowers class sizes Opportunity for year-long courses (Foundations of Algebra, Foundations of Biology, Biology) for students who need additional support Scott Add on to what Mrs. Michel was speaking about in regards to getting away from credits to program completion.

EARLY MORNING TUTORIAL
All students will have access to their teachers every Tuesday morning from 8:10 - 8:40 Students will need to be ready to enter the building at 8:05 Scott

EARLY RELEASE REQUIREMENTS
Students must have the required number of Carnegie units for graduation in May of their senior year Students must meet all End of Course Assessment graduation requirements Students must meet the ACT Benchmark Subscores: English 18 or Reading 22 Math 19 Students must have a 2.5 GPA Scott

EARLY RELEASE REQUIREMENTS
Students must complete one AP (take AP exam) or Dual Credit Course (C or higher) Students must be on track for May graduation Students must have paid all Graduation Fees Students will be released following 3rd block Scott

SENIOR FEES Graduation fee - $65 Class Night fee - $10 Newell

TECHNOLOGY FEE $50 Usage Fee for students to receive MacBook Computers
If a student did not pay $15 technology fee last year, they will need to pay $65 Payments can be made online or during Meet the Teacher night Newell

CELL PHONES SHOULD NOT BE SEEN OR HEARD ON CAMPUS Phones and MacBooks will not be charged in classrooms Scott
