2. Regulatory framework in Finland
State of Finland has imposed Electricity Market Act (588/2013)
Regulary Authority (Energy Authority) supervises the application of the Electricity Market Act
Energy Authority shall appoint one system responsible TSO -> Fingrid
System responsible TSO shall provide necessary requirements to fullfil duties given to the system responsible TSO. The requirements shall be approved by the Energy Authority.
The connection network codes (RfG, DCC, HVDC) are handled with similar procedure as given above.
Fingrid provides the national implementation of the CNC's, Energy Authority consults and approves the national implementation.
