Objectives of safety, consistency and cost effectiveness Development of a national validation framework to support consistent assessment of technologies Development of validation protocols and monitoring for existing and novel technologies and processes

5 National Recycled Water Regulators Forum
National Support “NRWRF recognises the need for a national validation framework for water recycling to protect public health and the environment. We .....(are) committed to working with WQRA and AWRCoE to further develop a nationally acceptable validation framework” National Recycled Water Regulators Forum “WSAA ...support the conceptual draft model of the National Validation framework (and) the further development of this framework with a view to implementation.”

6 The Commonwealth and States have also cooperated to develop national guidance documents for water.
These documents cover environmental water quality, drinking water quality and recycled water in Australia, and have been recognised and adapted by other countries
