Latitude Line that run east to west, and measure north to south

Hemisphere Half of a sphere

Prime Meridian An imaginary vertical line. It will always be at 0° longitude - divides the earth into western and eastern hemispheres.

Equator An imaginary horizontal line around the middle of the earth. It will always be at 0° latitude – divides the earth into northern and southern hemispheres
