Transitive verb:
Words that receive the action of the
transitive verbs are called objects.
To find the object:
Find the verb
2) Ask Who? or What?

6. EXAMPLE:
Tim threw the football.

7. Greg carved the pumpkin.

8. Intransitive verb:
expresses action (or tells
something about the subject) without passing the action to a receiver.
Intransitive verbs never answer the questions “who” or “what”.

9. He sneezed.
He skied down the hill

10. He remembered.
He thought about it.
He dreamt about a day off.
