6 Agency updates We have noticed that there have been fewer report outs during the agency update section of recent meetings. As a reminder, it is helpful to share updates about recent drills and exercises, lessons learned, available resources to share, job openings, staff changes or recognition, etc. Also, in an effort to save time, we are not going to call out various disciplines so people can respond at any time. Contact Michelle Deland at to join NCR HCC Roster: Standardization of member types and contact information across the region. Expect a request for information in the next few weeks Next Governance Board Meeting: The January meeting will be closed – attendance is limited to elected discipline representatives

13 Trainings and Events – Bronco Thunder
“Bronco Thunder” Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)/Radiological Incident Tabletop Exercise Thursday, February 8th at 8:30 am at Hyatt Regency Hotel at th Street, Denver Hosted by: University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, the FBI and Dept. of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Must register before 2/5/17 at Center on terrorist-created WMD/radiological incident(s) at the University of Colorado Hospital and the city of Denver, impacting the community and involving response and coordination from the local to federal levels. “Bronco Thunder” is part of the Silent Thunder Regional Exercise Series designed to allow collaboration among representatives from local, state and federal agencies with a shared stake in ensuring a positive outcome. The following City agencies will be participating in the exercise Denver 911 DDPHE and DPH DFD (Special Ops) DPD EMS Denver Sheriff (K-9) “Bronco Thunder” will provide a no-fault, site-specific TTX where leaders from all responding and stakeholder organizations can exercise both their crisis response and consequence management capabilities for a terrorist WMD incident. “Bronco Thunder” TTX is designed to last between 6-6½ hours and will include continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments.  The TTX will begin at 8:30 AM so be there at 8:00 AM to sign in.
