Figure (A) Erythematous, indurated, nonscaly plaques were symmetrically distributed on the patient's medial and lateral thighs and extended to the buttocks. (B) An incisional wedge biopsy sample from the medial thigh, stained with hematoxylin–eosin, revealed that large atypical cells with mitotic activity filled blood vessels in the subcutaneous fat. (C) The cells stained strongly for antibodies against CD20, but not with antibodies against melan-A, S100, CD3, CD31, or CD56. H&E = hematoxylin–eosin.
