Kingwood Fallen Heroes Memorial Golf Tournament April 28, 2018 The Clubs of Kingwood Sponsorship Opportunities

Background Kingwood Fallen Heroes (KFH) organization was founded in December, 2011 to honor Kingwood Fallen Heroes USMC Sgt. Brandon Bury who died while serving in Afghanistan in 2010; USMC Lance Corporal Luke Yepsen who died in Iraq in 2006; and, USA Sgt. Bill Meeuwsen who also died in Iraq in 2005. Second goal was to raise money to help support quality, tax exempt, charity organizations who support active and former members of our US armed forces and their families with special needs.

Background (Continued)
Third objective was to establish and fund scholarships at Kingwood High School honoring each of our fallen – shared activity with Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 of Texas – designed to assist high school seniors going on to college; also to ensure that our fallen are “never forgotten”. Approved as a 501c-(3) organization in 2013.

Event History Initial event held in April, 2012 – sold out golf pairings early~ 175 players – later expanded to 2 courses – sold out annually. Dinner/banquet included activities honoring our fallen, veteran recognition, keynote speakers, music, fellowship. Also golf awards/prizes, raffle, silent auction. Rolling Thunder, Lone Star Freedom Flight, Texan Fallen Heroes Wall, and Creekwood Honor Garden were involved. Donated over $460, 000 to Blue Star Mothers, Hope For The Warriors, Operation Military Embrace, CreatiVets, Pets for Vets, Wreaths Across America, and other applicable charitable organizations.

2018 Tournament Summary Tournament/dinner to be held at Kingwood Country Club – Saturday afternoon April 28, 2018 Complete information can be found on our website Event to include 240 golfers (or more), prizes, raffle, silent auction, dinner with comments and music afterwards. Sponsors are needed to be successful……..

Sponsorship Opportunities
The Commandant - $5000 with significant recognition, 8 golf spots, appreciation plaque. The General - $2500 with significant recognition, 4 golf spots, appreciation letter. The Full Bird - $1000 with recognition, 2 golf spots, appreciation letter. Beverage cart sponsorships - $500 Hole sponsorships - $150 Hole-in-one sponsorship to include insurance costs In-kind donations for dinner, raffle and silent auction very much appreciated All financial support tax deductible due to 501 (c)- 3 organization designations. Cash, check, credit cards accepted- receipts upon request. Sponsorship commitments needed by mid-April 2018.
