10 Material Selection Materials are sorted based on Refractive Index to determine which solid – liquid pairs are the best candidates.

11 Concept #1 Flow enters from the hole closer to the motor on the housing, wraps around the motor shaft, flows through the closed impeller and out.

12 Concept #2 Flow enters from the hole closer to the motor on the housing, wraps around the motor shaft, flows through the open impeller and out. Note: This causes minor problems connecting the impeller blade to the shaft
