SITUATION
Due to its rapid growth, Gruppo Industriale Maccaferri needed a bespoke platform to manage and control its business units and companies, its business requirements, and to centrally monitor its projects. They asked IT Manager to build secure and easy-to-use integrated tools to share information, resources, and documents among employees and stakeholders to help them efficiently manage project targets, budgets, procedures, and teams.

SOLUTION
IT Manager created a Software-as-a-Service platform integrated with Office 365 to manage the group’s project lifecycles. Users log in with Office 365 accounts using single sign-on to access features defined according to company workflows. Office 365 enables the group to organize teams and resources, and to centrally monitor project status. The power of Office 365 RMS tools and integrations with Microsoft Project enable teams to securely share project documents, to collaborate productively using SharePoint Online and OneDrive, and to seamlessly track project timelines, budgets and targets.
