7 Class Work and Daily Review
Grading Policy: Everything you do in class is worth points. No extra credit will be given. Below is the break-down of how your grade will be calculated: Assessments 50% of your grade Class Work and Daily Review 40% of your grade Homework 10% of your grade

8 Assessments The grade you earn on an assessment is the grade that goes in the grade book. After each Assessment, you can make up missed problems for a maximum of 70% per question or retake the test for full credit.

9 Class Work: Class work is graded on individual effort. This applies to participation in discussions, group work, games, and activities, in addition to individual seat work. If you demonstrate full effort, you will earn full credit.

10 Interactive Notebook and Notes:
A composition notebook is used to take notes and example questions. You need to bring this every day. It will be collected at every chapter test for a Notebook Check, worth points on your Class Work grade.

11 Homework: Expect homework Monday-Thursday nights. Types of homework could be previewing the next unit, creating a series of questions of your own, logging on to an assigned website and answering questions, or even something artsy! Homework assignments are “Credit/No Credit”. To earn full credit, you have to do it ALL (with all work shown, if it’s practice).

12 Late and Missed work: Late work: Will be accepted until the test for that unit. If the late work is incomplete in any way, you will earn a zero. Absent and Make-Up Work: If you are absent, you are still responsible for the work you missed. Find absent work on the website a or in the agenda in the classroom.
